ArrowCat 30 makes Australian debut at 2008 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show

ALAMEDA, CA-ArrowCat Marine Inc., announces the introduction of the new ArrowCat 30 at the 2008 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in Queensland, Australia, May 22 - 25. Designed by New Zealander Roger Hill, the 30-foot power catamaran promises to impress everyone from family cruisers to ocean-going sportsmen.
"The ArrowCat's sleek design offers practicality as well as luxury and manages to tick off all the boxes I look for in a vessel," says Audrey Greenwood, principal of Noosa Blue Water Brokerage in Australia. "Competively priced, the ArrowCat offers it all; the family weekend, the offshore fishing adventure or the Sunday river cruise - all delivered on a vessel with panache, sophistication and, most importantly, staying power."
The ArrowCat 30's greatest innovation is its spacious layout. In tandem with large exterior spaces, the interior design boasts a double stateroom and dual, adult-size midship berths. Designed with a large, open cockpit, cabin/helm station and galley, it offers loads of room for gear, toys and people. For the first time in a boat this size, the ArrowCat provides for a unique, functional combination of roomy cockpit and sleeping accommodations with generous head and shower.

After successful premiers at the recent Miami International and Palm Beach boat shows, the ArrowCat 30 is poised to outflank the competition. Stable, fast and fuel efficient, this top performer promises stability and tracking second to none. Whether racing to the fishing grounds or cruising with the kids, the ArrowCat 30 hull guarantees a steady platform and easy handling.
Roger Hill designed the ArrowCat to work like an SUV: built strong and safe, to go anywhere with high performance in mind. With structural engineering by High Modulus New Zealand (megayachts and America's Cup campaigns), the planing hull is designed to be fuel efficient and extremely stable and dry in extreme conditions.
First introduced in the U.S. in late 2007 in the San Francisco area, the ArrowCat 30 has caused a stir among potential dealers, customers and the media. Moving into high gear, ArrowCat Marine Inc., plans to take the product global in the coming year.
"The ArrowCat has no direct competitor for its size, features, options or pricing in the Australian market. Anything else that comes close, falls short," says Greenwood.
